If you do and would love to have these old treasures restored to DVD disks that you can play on your DVD player or computer, contact me, or call (803)945-4444.

I have now in my office all the equipment required to make these conversions.

I just finished doing all my old 8mm movies and a ton of old slides. What fun it has been watching events that took place 20, 30, 40 years ago... See my kids growing, my wife and I when we were so young and trim...

I can add sound to the DVD's, like good music or if you send specific outlines for the movies or slides, they can also be inserted.

Here is a great free useful print screen software that enhances the operation of your "Print Screen" key in your keyboard:

Gadwin PrintScreen allows much more flexibility. Usually when you hit the Print Screen button it loads the current screen into your clipboard. To save the image you have to open up an image-editing application, paste it, then save the file. Gadwin's free PrintScreen streamlines this whole process. It sits in your System Tray, and you can set a number of options. When you hit print screen (or whichever button you specify), you can choose to save the screen directly to a specific folder.

Gadwin PrintScreen captures the contents of the screen with a single keystroke. The captured screen can then be sent to the printer, or saved to disk as a file in 6 different graphics file formats.

Gadwin PrintScreen can capture the entire Windows screen, the active window, or a specified area, when the hot key is pressed. The hot key defaults to the PrintScreen key, but users may also define other keys to initiate a capture. Gadwin PrintScreen allows you to e-mail the captured images to recipients of your choice.

All this is free software. However Gadwin Systems Inc. also offers a more powerful version which combines the power of a first-class screen capture application with an advanced image editing and annotation utility - wrapped into one easy-to-use tool. Gadwin PrintScreen Professional is versatile and extremely easy-to-use.

In order to download either program, go to:

Select the "Download " tab then scroll down to either "Gadwin Print Screen Professional Version 4.5" or the free "Gadwin Print Screen Version 4.3" and download whichever you want. Full description of the program is outlined.

I use this program almost everyday, it is so easy and practical.

For your information, we refer your attention to this important article in USA TODAY:

Internet threat: Hackers swarm bank accounts

By Byron Acohido, USA TODAY

New and nasty banking trojans are on the rise on the Internet and attacking online bank accounts.
The new trojan programs — which wait on your hard drive for an opportunity to crack your online banking account — are different from traditional "phishing" e-mail scams that try to trick you into typing your login information at fake bank websites.
BLOG: ckick here How to keep your account safe

They're invisible, can steal data multiple ways and require no action by the victim to be launched.
"Phishing doesn't work as well as it used to," says Patrik Runald, security specialist at F-Secure, the Internet security firm. "Banking trojans provide a very effective and direct means for the bad guys to get their hands on the money."
Banking trojans can be gotten by clicking on a viral link to a greeting card or video that arrives in e-mail spam. Or, they can be picked up by clicking to a Web page that's been corrupted by hackers.
F-Secure tallied 59,177 unique banking trojans circulating on the Internet in 2008, up from 15,969 in 2007. The escalation partly underscores how intensively criminal hackers churn out new variants to escape detection by antivirus programs.
Banking trojans "are more advanced and evolving faster than antivirus solutions," says Gunter Ollmann at IBM Internet Security Systems.
The American Bankers Association acknowledges the rise. Doug Johnson, vice president of risk management policy, notes that most U.S. banks try to make certain that online customers log in from their usual computer.
Losses caused from unauthorized transactions aren't known. Banks generally don't disclose them.
A typical banking trojan remains dormant until the customer logs on to a banking website. It then steals usernames and passwords by capturing keystrokes or copying the log-on page after the victim has filled it out.
So-called man-in-the-middle trojans go further. One type makes illicit cash transfers while the victim is legitimately logged on. Another can reproduce a copy of the Web page showing account balances — except with the balances altered to show the numbers the victim expects to see. This buys time for the thief to drain the account and hide his trail, Ollmann says.
Despite the trojans, Johnson of the bankers' association insists "online banking, on balance, is safe."

This information came to us from secure sources:

"Magnetic Key Cards" used today in most hotels as a safe way to open the door of your room and protect intrusion by strangers, contain a lot of information that can be dangerous to your personal identity security.

Here is the information these "Keys" store about you:

1- Your name
2- Your address, as supplied by you
3-Hotel room #
4-Date for your check-in and check-out
5- Your credit card # and date of expiration

When you check-out, if you leave the "Key Card" with the reception, it will normally be thrown in a drawer and all the above information will be available to any unscrupulous employee with access to the hotel scanner or even a personal scanner they may keep at home for that purpose.

In most cases, this information will be available to anybody, until a new guest checks-in and the "Magnetic Key Card" is overwritten with new information.

Until this happens, your personal information can be stolen and used to spend your money using your credit card # and all the info the thief has available on you.

Our recommendation is simple:

Never leave your "Magnetic Key Card" with the reception when you check-out; take it with you and then destroy it. Do not throw it in the trash when you get to the airport either!

It is against the law for hotels to charge you for not returning the "Magnetic Key Card", therefore it is up to you to secure your identity.

Keep yourself safe from identity theft.

From Smart PC Utilities, Ltd.:

When you install Microsoft Windows Vista for the first time, you will notice the low performance of your system. There are many reasons of the performance problems in Windows Vista, one of them that there are many of Windows Vista services that are running in the background that consume a lot of CPU power and take up much space in the system memory (RAM) which we do not really need them at all.

You can download this utility at:

To do this, copy and paste the above address to your browser and then download and install this great utility.
