HOW TO REMOVE YOUR LOGIN PASSWORD FROM WINDOWS 10

Its been a long time since my last post. I am totally retired and well organized in my private affairs now.

I think it"s time to start again with helpful posts, mostly focused on Windows 10, now that my favorite Windows 7 is on the last months in getting support from Microsoft.

Today I am addressing an issue that is sometimes a source of irritation with many users.

As we all know, Windows 10 requires as default, a password entry every time it is booted or even awaken from sleep. This is of course a security issue which makes a lot of sense for computers which are easily accessed by other people, other then the owner.

However, if your computer is in a place that only you or other trusted person  can access, it is much easier to boot without having to enter your password.

It is very easy to remove your login password. Here is how:

1- Click windows 10 Start Menu icon at bottom left of screen.

2-Type Netplwiz command and select the program that show up with the same name.

3-A new window opens, (title is User Accounts). On top left of the screen, next to the option
named "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"  there is  a check
    mark in a little square.

4-Uncheck the check mark.

5-Click "Apply" button on lower left of the window. This action will prompt you to enter your        password twice.

6-Enter your password twice as requested, click  the OK button and you are done.
Next time you reboot your computer or wake it up from sleep, you will no longer need
   to enter your password.

I hope this post will help some of you who did not know how to login without entering a password.

See you soon.
