On March 5, I published a post concerning available software, that for a price of one payment of $19.99, you can have almost 2000 different TV stations from all over the world on your computer monitor screen.
I installed it in my computer and I have enjoyed it; some stations have pretty good video quality, some are not so good, but it is a lot of fun.
Today my good friend Raymond Marr, sent me an e-mail stating that there is another website that does basically the same thing, EXCEPT THAT THERE IS NO COST, IT IS FREE !

I just finished doing all my old 8mm movies and a ton of old slides. What fun it has been watching events that took place 20, 30, 40 years ago... See my kids growing, my wife and I when we were so young and trim...
I can add sound to the DVD's, like good music or if you send specific outlines for the movies or slides, they can also be inserted.

The new trojan programs — which wait on your hard drive for an opportunity to crack your online banking account — are different from traditional "phishing" e-mail scams that try to trick you into typing your login information at fake bank websites.

Banking trojans can be gotten by clicking on a viral link to a greeting card or video that arrives in e-mail spam. Or, they can be picked up by clicking to a Web page that's been corrupted by hackers.
F-Secure tallied 59,177 unique banking trojans circulating on the Internet in 2008, up from 15,969 in 2007. The escalation partly underscores how intensively criminal hackers churn out new variants to escape detection by antivirus programs.
Banking trojans "are more advanced and evolving faster than antivirus solutions," says Gunter Ollmann at IBM Internet Security Systems.
The American Bankers Association acknowledges the rise. Doug Johnson, vice president of risk management policy, notes that most U.S. banks try to make certain that online customers log in from their usual computer.
Losses caused from unauthorized transactions aren't known. Banks generally don't disclose them.
A typical banking trojan remains dormant until the customer logs on to a banking website. It then steals usernames and passwords by capturing keystrokes or copying the log-on page after the victim has filled it out.
So-called man-in-the-middle trojans go further. One type makes illicit cash transfers while the victim is legitimately logged on. Another can reproduce a copy of the Web page showing account balances — except with the balances altered to show the numbers the victim expects to see. This buys time for the thief to drain the account and hide his trail, Ollmann says.
Despite the trojans, Johnson of the bankers' association insists "online banking, on balance, is safe."

This information came to us from secure sources:
"Magnetic Key Cards" used today in most hotels as a safe way to open the door of your room and protect intrusion by strangers, contain a lot of information that can be dangerous to your personal identity security.
Here is the information these "Keys" store about you:
1- Your name
2- Your address, as supplied by you
3-Hotel room #
4-Date for your check-in and check-out
5- Your credit card # and date of expiration
When you check-out, if you leave the "Key Card" with the reception, it will normally be thrown in a drawer and all the above information will be available to any unscrupulous employee with access to the hotel scanner or even a personal scanner they may keep at home for that purpose.
In most cases, this information will be available to anybody, until a new guest checks-in and the "Magnetic Key Card" is overwritten with new information.
Until this happens, your personal information can be stolen and used to spend your money using your credit card # and all the info the thief has available on you.
Our recommendation is simple:
Never leave your "Magnetic Key Card" with the reception when you check-out; take it with you and then destroy it. Do not throw it in the trash when you get to the airport either!
It is against the law for hotels to charge you for not returning the "Magnetic Key Card", therefore it is up to you to secure your identity.
Keep yourself safe from identity theft.

GREAT SECURITY SOFTWARE FOR FREE!
Good security/anti-virus software is in most cases expensive and requires annual fees for renewals.
Well my friends, there is an anti virus free software which stands out and works as well as the "big boys". This anti-virus program includes many varieties of shields, safe-surfing tools, real time virus protection which is automatically updated on a daily basis.
The name of this beauty is AVAST and can be downloaded for free at http://www.avast.com/ .
When you log to the above website, do not select any of the professional editions of the software. Instead go to the last tab on thr right, "Free Software" click and download the Home Edition, which as I said above is totally free for your use.
This is not a time trial type software, it is free for as long as you keep it and works with Windows XP and Vista.
I have it installed in my computers and frankly, when the time comes for renewal of my other security software, whose name I am not going to mention, but that costs $69.00/year to renew, I'm going to pass...

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS IN YOUR SYSTEM?
When you decide to upgrade certain components in your computer, wouldn't it be nice to first make sure of what you have inside that box in great detail?
That can be very easy to do: go to http://www.cpuid.org/ and download and install a free very, very handy utility called CPU-Z.
This freeware will in a split of a second gather information on the main devices of your computer system such as:
CPU
Name and number.
Core stepping and process.
Package.
Core voltage.
Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier.
Supported instructions sets.
Cache information. Mainboard
Vendor, model and revision.
BIOS model and date.
Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
Graphic interface. Memory
Frequency and timings.
Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table. System
Windows and DirectX version.

NEW INTERNET WORM
There is a new Internet worm, (a malicious software program), that has swept through corporate, educational and public computers all over the world, (more than 9 MM computers ) and is spreading quickly.
This worm has been named Conficker or Downaup. It is spread by a recently discovered Microsoft Windows vulnerability, by guessing network passwords and by hand-carried gadgets like USB flash drives.
This type of worm harness infected computers into unified systems called botnets, which accept programming from their clandestine masters. Many computer users may not notice that their machines have been infected: The worm operates in the background to send spam or infect other computers and steal PC user's personal information.
Back in October 2008, Microsoft rushed an emergency patch to defend the Windows OS against this worm, but because not every user has installed this patch, the worm continues to spread at a very fast rate.
Security researchers, have estimated that at least 30% of Windows OS based computers linked to the Internet remain vulnerable to infection because they have not been updated with the patch.
Once infected, the computer will allow someone to remotely command it without the computer owner's knowledge.
Our advice: MAKE SURE TO GO TO MICROSOFT.COM AND CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR SOFTWARE UPDATES; ONCE THERE, DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ALL UPDATES THAT HAVE NOT YET BEEN INSTALLED.
